It's all about Poo

Well here is a little story for you. Yesterday Samantha and I were traveling back from Denver. We went to see my Dad and he and I went to a Broncos game and Samantha got to stay with the Pahls. It was wonderful except Samantha was sick, and speaking of sick we were all home today sick and went to the dr. to get drugs. Hopefully, we will feel better soon.

Anyways, from here to Denver is a 6 hour drive and on our way home all was going well UNTIL. I stopped at our halfway rest spot to feed and change Samantha. I opened the back door and there she was with a huge smile on her face. She was covered in poo. Yes, poo. Her face was covered in poo, her hands and arms were covered in poo. And, her feet and legs were covered in poo. Everything was covered in poo. Her toys, her car seat cover, EVERYTHING. I sat there speechless and she was as happy as can be. Poo on her face and green snot coming out of her nose. (Isn't that what you wanted to hear?)

I got Samantha to the grass and just started scrubbing the heck out of her. At one point she was butte naked in the grass. She is so wiggly that I didn't have a choice, it was awful. And I couldn't even get her completely clean. I had to take her car seat cover off and put a baby blanket in her seat. We had three hours left of our drive. She cried for 2 of it. It was stinky and plan bad. I called Will and when we pulled in he got her out and took her straight upstairs to bath. We had to wash everything in the car.

Poo Party!

Sleeping Beauty

I took these this morning. Samantha is snuggling her little nighty bear. I just love it.

UT gear on, and we are ready!

Wonderful American Weekend

On September 11 this year our town had a great patriotic weekend. We went to a parade down main street that was adorable. ( I forgot my camera.) Then, our town was honored to have the traveling memorial of the Vietnam Wall visit. It was amazing. I can't even imagine what the real one looks like because this little one was beyond words. the amount of names of this wall is unreal. Here are the pictures that I could take. None of them even come close to what it looked like being there.

Samantha Alert!

This morning I watched Samantha stand up without using a chair, the couch, or the coffee table. She literally stood up in the middle of the floor. I think my mouth feel open for like a minute. I could not believe it! Sooo....any guesses on when she will walk?

Clapping!

I have been clapping to Samantha every time does something good, or just because so that she will clap. Today we looked over while she was playing and she clapped! It completely melted my heart. She is growing up so fast.

Stranger Danger!

We had an eventful morning this morning and I love my neighbors!! This morning after breakfast I was cleaning up the kitchen and my neighbor boy (5th grade) came over. As I was talking to him a white car pulled out of my driveway. He was sitting there facing out for who knows long. My neighbor was about to walk the boys to school when she saw the car and sent Jordan over to check on me. I didn't see her but I saw the car and asked Jordan if he was walking alone. I was going to take him to school if he was. His mom has an 8 month old too. We don't get bus service because the elementary school is at the end of our neighborhood. I don't know what they do though when it is -20!!! or raining! It makes me mad. Anyway! The car started to leave when they came over. CREEPY!! They left for school and I texted my other neighbors. Then one of them called me and said he was in front of the house. Sooo, she called the police. Then my neighbors on the other side went up to the car, but I couldn't tell if they knew him, but turns out they were just checking him out too. Then a dump truck with dirt pulled into a house 2 doors down and dumped it and then the man went over to the truck. Turns out he was apart of the crew. So, the cop left and we all went back to our lives.

Moral of the story is that if you are going to be creepy on my street, you have eyes on you!!! Hahaha.
