Gillette Baby Shower

We have such wonderful friends in Gillette. Our neighbors had a baby shower for us for our friends and co-workers. It was at our house and we had a great time. We played several games that I hadn't seen before. When each guess arrived they had to stick a blown up balloon in their shirt so they could be pregnant with me. It was great. Then, they had to guess how many diapers were in a container, which I got the diapers. Then, we had to test our nursery rhymn ability. I did pretty good. My two favorite games were they had to pass a pacifier through the room only using straws, and then they had to drop a quarter in a cup on the floor that they were holding with their knees. We a had food and cake, and they blessed us with gifts. Thanks to everyone!

Halloween '09

Friday night we went to Anandarko's haunted house. It was great. They completely decorated the inside of the building. One side was for little kids where they could trick or treat without all the scary stuff, and the other side was for the older kids where people jump out of corners all dressed up to scare them. I don't go to that side. Will's group was in charge of a section on the little kids side and they completely transformed it into a pirate ship and we all dressed up as pirates. Will was Captain Jack Sparrow complete with the voice and the walk. At one point, a little boy turned to his mom with the biggest grin and said, "Mom, thats Captain Jack Sparrow." I laughed so hard. It was a great time, and we appreciate everyone in Will's group who worked so hard. Happy Halloween!

Oh, yeah...30 weeks pregnant. 2 Months exactly from Friday we will have a little girl!!! And, wearing black is not always slimming enough.

The baby shower was amazing! The Pahl ladies did such a great job and we had so much fun. My grandma and aunt flew in for the shower on Friday and then Kyle flew in on Saturday. The men went golfing while we did girly stuff. It was such a great weekend and Will and I left knowing exactly how much the Lord has blessed us. Thanks to everyone who made us feel so special!
